OKay, so I have finally braved the transition from 6 to 7 strings and I think I will sell all my 6 strings and buy a couple more 7 strings. I finally got my first two 7 strings:

1 - Schecter Blackjack C-7 ATX w/ Blackouts.
2 - Ibanez RG7321 w/ Evolutions.

I'll post the pictures soon.

Selling all you 6's is stupid! At least keep one..
Pick that one up once a month, and you'll remember why you love 7's

I agree with this statement.. well, at least the first two sentences. The third one is pretty true as well, but the reason I agree with those is mainly because I'm glad I kept a few sixers. I use a seven every now and again, but playing one as my main axe aggravates a ulnar nerve problem that I have because of the wider neck. Didn't realize this would be a problem until after about 4 months of playing only a seven string and had to take a month and a half off of playing guitar altogether. My situation is kind of unique, but illustrates that you just never know when a sixer might come in handy.

Oh, and of course: The one with the most guitars wins. :agreed:

Congratulations on your not one but two new sevens!!! Post some pics soon and I would also keep my sixes, all of them. I only one seven string and it's in pieces and has been for the past three to four years so you never know when you'll need your old six string...

Yeah, relax guys I'm not getting rid of any of my 6 strings :p
I was just a little too excited when I wrote that. I have 4 6 strings:

Ibanez RG4EXQM1 with Tonezone on the bridge and Breed on the neck.
Ibanez RG3EXQM1 with X2N on the bridge and D Activator on the neck.
Schecter Hellraiser with EMG81/85
Schecter Blackjack with JB/59

I'll post pictures of those too along with my 7's.

Dude, if you like 7s, there's no reason to keep 6s. You can do on a 7 everything you can do on a 6. Don't let people tell you that's stupid because it's not. Keep them if you like em, if not sell them. Guitars are there to be played.

Do whatever you're happy with, man. I only have a 6 left, and I'm trying to sell it

BTW, shouldn't this post be on the "sevenstring guitars" section?
