I have a bit of a dillemma. Well, it's not really a dillemma, but still.

Okay, so I was cheap enough to buy a Harley Benton 7-string. After saaaaay...a year of having it in pieces, I'm getting sick of it laying around. I have some pretty sweet modifications in mind for it, but im unsure about what to do with the bridge (licensed floyd).

My first thought was to just convert the guitar to a hard tail.

But since owning a Kramer Baretta, I've kind of fallen in love with having a floyd mounted flat against the body. Now, my question is, will I be able to fill in my guitar body so that the current tremelo sits flat, or will I have to purchase another tremelo all-together?

The Floyds that are made to be recessed (like the one you have) have a shorter block than the ones that were made to go on top of the body (like your Kramer). So you really *can't* do that without digging out the trem spring cavity or getting a longer block...
