FREE VOCAL FX CHAIN - Mixing and Processing

Howdy metal mixing men, and other interested parties. Here's another one of those videos i've been doing where I demo how to get a decent sound for each specific instrument, without spending any money. This time, it's a basic vocal chain, including Neve 1073 style EQ, 1176 style limiting, a tape-slap echo, room and plate reverbs all built into Reaper.

A bass one is coming, have a look around the forums for the guitar and drum ones.

Thanks...... everything is taken from somewhere these days though, I got that from an issue of Sound on Sound a few years ago. I usually use soundtoys' MicroShift for that but if you want free..... there ya go!

Awesome video, man! I'll definitely watch a few more times again.

And I loved the simplicity of the de-essing solution, specially since those Reaper plugins are available for free for any DAW (I have them in Sonar)
