We recently acquired this rare and mint Dean USA RC7 Paduk special edition Rusty Cooley signature guitar. It was kept new in its case as the owner has another one of these he does play. He decided he didn't need two and ended up trading it into my store.
This model was one of 12 made I believe, derived from a limited run from a Dean dealer in Ohio. It has the same specs as the Xenocide model, except it has a Paduk (or Paduak, as it should be called) body. Paduak is a phenomenal tone wood. The guitar sounds extremely vibrant, resonant, and full of punch. Paduak does weigh more than alder in the standard RC7, however. Other features including an ultra thin neck profile, flat fingerboard radius, ebony fingerboard, Original Floyd Rose trem, EMG 707 pickups, superb upper-fret access (the best I've ever experience in a double-cut guitar), original Dean USA case, etc.
