Hi,I have an Ormsby Hype GTR 6 string,it's 25.5-27.5
I'm looking for a set for the Architects tuning.Drop B with a low F# instead.
I'm using La Bella' 1356 for regular 7string Drop G#'s 2-7 now,and it feels good
How if I use a 1148 with a 62 or 64 instead for the F# tuning?
Thanks.

YMMV, but I'd think you'd want 70-74 for the F#, 64 seems loose compared to the rest of those

thanks!maybe imI'gonna for a 70 or 72.
Personally I like a little bit loose strings, like 1052 for Drop C on a 25.5 guitar. What's the gauge for the same feeling on my 25.5-27.5 for F#?If 70 or 72 is that feeling then I'm gonna buy them.

I think Josh said he uses a 70 for the low F# on a 25,5" scale guitar, so you might get away with something lower gauge on a 27# scale like a 64 or a 68, depends on what feels best for you of course. I personally like my strings to feel tighter so I'd just try a 70 first anyway and if that's too much then you can still scale down.

I have Ormsby TX with scale extension to 27.8 and 74 gauge on my low Ab is perfect. I mean, it's really good. Even better when I tune to G#
