Getting A Custom 7 Made!

Finally doing it!

Contacted Marty Siggery, putting the payment down soon and getting my custom 7 string built! Along with hopefully finishing the 7 String Stealth me and my Dad started a while back!!

Specs are as follows:

Heresy Body Shape
Mahogany Body,
fade the top edge away where your forearm sits like an Ibanez RG? (shown here http://www.boppshop.de/images/ibanez_rg870zbk.jpg)
Set Neck 3 piece maple and walnut
Ebony Fretboard, White bound
25.5 Scale length
Hipshot Bridge
Seymour Duncan Phase II (EMG707 size) blackouts in bridge and Neck position
1 volume, 3 way toggle switch
All black hardware
Gloss Black finish all over.

Its going to be a straightforward balls out metal machine!!

One question though...

Why are you choosing to go phase 2 with the blackouts? If you ever want to go passive you'll have goofy holes either side...

Siggery's guitars are top notch. Can't beat the price for the quality you get. Dean, the guitarist/vocalist in my band has been using him for a while. You won't be disappointed!

I recently had a little foray into passive pickups and honestly they're just not for me, i have an acoustic that i play acoustic on, everytime i pick up an electric now its simply to play mad ball blistering thrash so the actives are perfect for me. Plus the way i pick i rest my little finger on the pickup so the extra case width is perfect for that

Worst mockup in history...I did this at work with only paint at my disposal...it literally is awful

But this is roughly the idea, black hardware, the hipshot, the only difference is the pickups, i'd have the Phase II Blackouts instead

Can anyone make a better mock up for me?? I've tried to rip this together out of the closest attributes i could find online, i'm severely impatient so i have to keep trying to envision how its going to look by making awful mockups and squinting

Fretboard would still have to be ebony without fretmarkers as well

Spoke to Marty Siggery today!!! He's sent the guitar off for painting and will be reassembling all the parts and have it out to me next week!!!

I cannot even begin to tell you how awesome a guy Marty is, i'm the most relentless guy for questions and comms and he has been a complete legend every step of the way. I've made changes and altered certain ideas and added new bits and pieces the whole way through this process and he's accomodated all of them happily.

Can't wait and i'll have pics up as soon as it arrives!!
