Gibson LP Doublecut (heavy breathing content)

One of the most underrated shapes of all time, Epiphone made one and now Gibson is cranking them out for their 120th anniversary series. Now to figure out a way to scrounge 2500 bucks

One of my favorite shapes by Gibson. I remember wanting the DC Standard Plus in see thru black...

I kinda still want one. It also looks nice in lemonburst and gold:

The DC's and the Nighthawk series are the beat things Gibson has ever done (my personal opinion of course, totally subjective)

So there's three doublecut shapes? The one with squared-off transition between neck and cutaway, the one with the curved transition and lastly the Longhorn shape. But none of them have the traditional LP cutaway shape? Wonder why not. So far I perfer the squared-off cutaway version, but I'd very much like to see it with completely symmetrical "classic" LP-style cuts.

I'm not a fan of LPs, but I love the doublecut! My brother has an 1998 Amber one (I think that´s the color, I dunno) that plays so smoothly, and isn't annoyingly unbalanced like most LPs feel to me. It's awesome.

They should make a heavy comeback!
