Gibson Pickup COVER, different size than advertised - SG, Les paul - With pics

Hello,

So I am VERY frustrated. Took all the screws, bridge, strings off for nothing.
Paid 20€ for an original Gibson PU bridge cover (that advertises as fitting ALL gibson pickups. NOT).

Tried to install in my Gibson SG futura BB3 or my Les Paul futura bridge PU. It just doesnt fit.

What am I missing here?

sounds silly, but have you owned this Gibson from new?. If not have you made sure those humbuckers are 100% Gibson? What do they say underneath them.

I dont get it otherwise. Email or Phone Gibson with you issue and see what they say

Yes. I bought all of them brand new sealed, from thomann and/or musicstore. I have 7 different gibsons. Tried it in 3 different, it doesnt fit the the bridge position pu's.

The pu's are burstbucker 3. :/
