Just throw one of those Pine Air Fresheners in the case when you're not playing. Smells like a new car everytime I open the case thanks Adam! Haha

I have one guitar with a case I bought used that smells like someone spilled a bottle of cologne in. I've trying to figure out how to get the smell out. Fabreeze didn't work.

I'm borrowing a bass from my dad, and it smells exactly like chocolate. Nice chocolate too. Like, delicious.

If I was gonna scent my guitar though, I'd spray the inside of a case and put the guitar in there. Otherwise the neck might get sticky and stuff

Yeah, put some smell good in your case. Leave the guitar alone.

I'd create a f--king bouquet of smells. I'd spray a bit of my cologne in there, leave some spicy smelling potpourri in a bag, and then let it sit in the sun, minus my guitar, of course, to really bake that smell in. Some cases do smell like shit, oddly enough.

Got a couple of TJC cases off of ebay recently that reeked of cigarette smoke - I put a couple of those scented cling free dryer sheets in each case and closed them up for about a week - worked great! I guess the sheets absorb the odor - and the case now smell like lilac or something.

Are you asking this because you want the guitar to smell feminine since we typically refer to a guitar as a female persona? Or is there some girl in particular it you want it to smell like.
