Dream Theater got their very first nomination, the Foo Fighters got a lot of nominations, Skrillex got a Best New Artist nod, and Bon Iver and Mumford + Sons got a shitload of noms as well.

I still get tripped out when I hear about DT in the mainstream. Thankfully, for me, I get a feeling of pride rather than, "Oh, everyone likes em' now, they suck!" They deserve all the attention they're getting, they've been busting ass for years!

Never cared much about the grammys after Ricky martin got one. I mean, even Homer Simpson´s got one (not that Homer is less talented than Ricky martin, it´s just that Homer doesn´t exist).
