I have never owned one, but I have done a lot of research as I had intended to get one. They seem to be on par with the LTD, or essentially the LTD series for the Japanese market. They've done a lot more experimental and interesting things over the years. There's a ton of them on Ebay second hand for pretty good prices straight from Japan, just be careful about the seller; a lot of resellers on there just listing the same thing for more cash it seems.

These are made in Japan, and on par with original ESP/E-II.
I heard the ones from the 90s were made by the same people making the custom shop models.

Comparable with 400-series LTD's build quality wise I think.

I have this grassroots. I like it a lot, mostly for the shape. Stock this came with EMG Hz pickups I believe. Quality wise it's definitely less than my Edwards guitars, but I only paid 300 bucks for it.

What model is that and did it come with a Kahler from the factory? Thats so sick!
