Meshuggah- Catch 33. The album to me that defines "Djent"
Tesseract- One. The instruments alone could stand by themselves, but the vocals are heavenly.
Slipknot-Iowa. I know many people don't like them, but it is a damn heavy record.
Between The Buried and Me-The Great Misdirect. To me i like this more than Colors, just something about it doesn't feel like a metal Zelda soundtrack.
A Hero A Fake- Let Oceans Lie. My favorite metalcoreish band by far.
Cloud Kicker- The Discovery. Melodic Meshuggah, nuff said.
Sikth-TTADADO. You crazy Brits, i love you.
System of a Down- Toxicity. My first favorite metal cd.
Black Sabbath- Paranoid. Without this album there wouldn't be metal IMO.

The Trees are Dead and Dried Out... Wait for Something Wild

Both albums are brilliant.

The Hidden Hand - The Resurrection of Whiskey Foote
Katatonia - Last Fair Deal Gone Down, The Great Cold Distance, Night is the New Day
