All of it :flex: Buffy just generally has really awesome music throughout the entire series :yesway:

:metal:

Christophe Beck's soundtrack work was some of my favourite TV show scoring, although Joss Whedon plus Musical somehow, against all conceivable odds, equals win. :D

"I've got a feeling, that it's a demon
A dancing demon, no, something isn't right there..."

Seriously though - Donnie Darko. Those songs really fit the setting of the movie, and Gary Jules' re-interpretation of Mad World kicks the shit out of the original.

"Bunnies, bunnies it must be BUNNIES!"

...."or maybe midgets."

"Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes!
They've got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses!
And what's with all the carrots?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?"

LOTR was pretty good, I played it in the Philharmonic Orchestra in Naples and it felt pretty damn epic haha.

The Matrix is one of my favorite movies so I can't discount its score either.
Also Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure since Vai did it... jk lol

Ghostbusters 2, just for the chorus in higher and higher and of course the theme song :p

I haven't seen Requiem for A Dream so I should possibly watch this haha

Gladiator, The Last Samurai, Signs, The Rock, American beauty, The Fifth Element, The Dark Knight and many others..

Not a fan of Lotr or Star Wars, I think their soundtracks are boring.

But I think nowadays composers just tend to rip off each other or to do some Walt Disney shit.

This is probably a mistake, considering my name is Damian, but currently my favorite film score is The Omen. Jerry Goldsmith is just absolutely awesome for this. I am not a satanist, nor christian, but I love the fact that he basically wrote a satanic mass:hbang:. And, Jerry Goldsmith is just fantastic overall. I love it. I also love Bernard Herman's Psycho. And, Danny Elfman's Sleepy Hollow.

i have to say i am eternally floored with Hanz Zimmer's work for GLadiators score. not to mention having Lisa Gerrard singing!!! both huge contributors

This. Hans Zimmer is amazing. His scores for Black Hawk Down and The Dark Knight are also pretty awesome.

American Beauty and Black Hawk Down, also awesome scores :yesway:

I'm surprised so many people have said The Dark Knight though, it's just a recylced score from Batman Begins, which wasn't that great to begin with

Also Pulp Fiction and Donnie Darko don't have scores, just music... just sayin' ;)

Maybe, predominantly the new stuff I like. The Joker's theme 'Why SO Serious?' is awesome.

And agree :agreed: Echo and The Bunnymen - The Killing Moon is an awesome song.

I must also say the soundtrack to the Breakfast Club. Simple Minds - Don't You Forget About Me :hbang:
