Had this painted a month or so ago. Custom body, 7620 neck, Fixed double locking TRS bridge. Still waiting on my battery box so I have a temp cover in place.

did you mount the trem plate to the body or something? what happened to the spring cavity?

Took the trem block off and fixed it using the bridge studs and 3 screws through the trem baseplate. Worked out great.

My friend Bryan does this to all of his custom builds. Its just a very functional way of mounting the jack. Puts it in perfect position to run the cable through your strap then into the guitar.

Yamaha did this on the RGX series before the angled jack was a glimmer in Ibanez's eye, although not with a locking Neutrik jack.
