Hello! Never really introduced myself here and thought I'd just do it now 
I'm Thijs (like Tyson w/o the on), 25, student, play guitar and also a bit piano. I've had lessons for 8 years and I used to be in a couple of bands with school friends but I'm not anymore. My 'roots' are in classic rock but I'm pretty much all round now, with a tendency towards rock and electro in the last years. The djent micro genre has revitalized my apatite for metal, with so many really talented guitar players. I've got to start learning about chord progressions and alternate picking, can't seem to get that down...
My biggest influences at the moment are probably Skyharbor, Andy McKee, Jimi Hendrix, Ben Howard and Lostprophets.
I just bought an ESP LTD MHB 400 baritone-6 which I love.
