That's pretty good news. Downside is the Floyd in my opinion, because it's seldom needed on a 7-string and unneccessarily complicates a good setup, except you're mainly a lead player, where a Floyd can (can is the keyword here) make sense.

Yeah, that may well be the case.. I'm planning to sell her on anyway though, so if I love 7-strings but don't feel the Floyd, I might go for a 7-string hardtail when I'm ready to stump up for a top-end model!

Gonna have to try an RG8 too though!
