Hey guys, have you heard about the guitar solo competition we're running over at GuitarMessenger.com?
Wasn't sure if I could post this in general discussion - someone please move or repost there if that's ok!
We've got an amazing prize package lined up from Ibanez, Randall, Seymour Duncan, Toontrack, and Recabinet. The finalist entries will be judged by Per Nilsson, Jeff Loomis, Ola Englund, and Ralph Santolla. Read/watch below for more info:

DOWNLOAD THE CONTEST BACKING TRACK available at Facebook.com/GuitarMessenger.
Give us a LIKE, then click the BACKING TRACK tab next to the LIKES count at the top right to access the audio and transcriptions for the track. This is the solo section from Scar Symmetry‘s DOMINATION AGENDA.
STEP TWO
RECORD A VIDEO OF YOU PLAYING YOUR ORIGINAL SOLO OVER THE BACKING TRACK.
Be creative and show us what you got!
STEP THREE
ENTER YOUR CONTEST SUBMISSION HERE BEFORE MAY 7th, 2013.
You can check out and comment on other entries HERE. The contest will be closed for submissions on May 7th, 2013.
STEP FOUR: PUBLIC VOTING (MAY 7 – 14)
PROMOTE YOUR VIDEO AND GATHER VOTES.
On May 7th 2013, the public voting phase will begin and people can vote for each submission once a day until May 14th, 2013. Promote your video, share it with your friends, and post it on your favorite social networks and forums to gather as many votes as possible. The top voted entries will go on to become the contest finalists!
STEP FIVE: JUDGES PICK WINNERS
WIN AMAZING PRIZES FROM OUR WONDERFUL SPONSORS.
Public voting will be closed on May 14th, 2013 and the top-voted entries will become the finalists. Our all-star jury consisting of PER NILSSON, JEFF LOOMIS, OLA ENGLUND, and RALPH SANTOLLA, will go on to rank the finalists and select five winners, who will be announced around May 18th.
