Nominations end Wednesday, August 7th at Noon CT.
The Rules:
-Guitar must have 7 or more strings. I'm opening this up to ERGs as they now make up a significant portion of this site.
-Guitar must be custom made or significantly modified (stickers, tung oil, and pickups don't count). The idea is something super unique/one of a kind. So, basically, modded Agiles, Ibanez, Schecters, and LTDs are out. Same goes for non-option 50 Carvins and other semi-custom operations. The modifications need to be significant.
-The guitar's owner must post here.
-The guitar's owner must be a member here for longer than three months, and have over 25 posts.
-The guitar must have been posted (via NGD) within the month of the competition. Time zones apply.
-A guitar can only take part in the competition once. If it's sold later on, and given another NGD, its still out of the running.
-Guitar must not currently be for sale or have a FS thread at least one month prior.
-Luthiers posting examples of their work are barred from having those guitars run unless the buyer has posted the guitar in a NGD. Builders cannot nominate their own work.
-The same person can only win once every six month.
-Users may NOT nominate their own guitar.
Prizes: Nothing right now.
How to nominate:
Simple, just post a link and/or photo of a guitar and it's NGD from MONTH (YEAR, last month, obviously
). Three nominations gets a place in the final vote. Only one week for nominations. To add a nomination to a guitar already posted, simply say the guitar's name [Company and Model] and add a "+1" to your post. The top five guitars with the most nominations will make it to the final vote.
Unsportsmanlike conduct will result in exclusion from this competition, possibly on an extended or permanent basis. Please keep this threads for nominations ONLY.
