Awesome, but wasn't the release date 4 days from now?
Is this legit?
The thread title says demo - doesn't look like a demo to me!

Buying this right now if it's for real, just not certain as their websites confuse me  (I was googling guitar pro and expecting to see mention of GP6 on the actual www.guitar-pro.com)

I'm not really sure if it's released yet....they just mentioned the demo on Facebook.

The new interface confuses me :D How to you change the tuning of your instruments? It's nice to see that I can select 7 string bass & 8 string guitar, but there must be a way to change it...
EDIT: Nevermind, I got it... still looks like changing the number of strings for a track is not possible. I am confused :D

Ah great, it's definately legit :) Just trying to decide if I should buy it now or wait until the release - I guess it's the same thing!

The Sibelius influence on this is HUGE!
I like it but it's going to take a LOT of getting used to. It's a whole new program!

I'm confused, is the €60 for the demo or for the full program? Can I buy the full program yet?

Listening to their samples, it sounds VERY good!

You can download the demo for free.

I'm presuming the payment is for the full program.

+1, don't really like it much. Looks great but i don't find it handy to work with at all.

It's probably more handy once you get used to it, but yeah, perhaps it's too different. I'm sure there's many great features to find :)

Just downloaded the demo and had a play.

I agree with Owain... its just... ok i guess.

I think im much happier with GP5 because im so used to it now. I simply use it to see how a song would sound and to tab it out, i dont really use the RSE because it doesnt sound like a guitar to begin with, and the layout is a complete turn off for me.

Not to say that it isnt good, im sure new buyers will love it, just its not my thing. I think they may need a re-think for GP7  Something a bit simpler perhaps?

One major issue! They GOT RID of Drum tab by MIDI numbers

Apart from that, I'm loving this.
