Well, I picked up a used LTD H-207 so I could mess around with different tunings without dealing with a floating trem. There's been some headstock damage, most of the hardware has some rust on it (except the tuners, which were upgraded to Sperzels), and a chunk of the bridge pickup ring broke off. Other than that, it's in decent condition and it plays fine. Not like my Ibanez, but I wasn't expecting a Wizard-thin neck anyway. Now for some pics!

I don't think the inlay is supposed to be this yellow. Whatever, it adds character.

I'm not exactly wowed by it, but I'm not disappointed. The binding and the ash top are awesome, so overall, I'm happy with it. Unfortunately, I can't post any clips since my POD's USB port is broken and I don't have an audio interface at the moment. Oh well, shit happens.

Yeah, I don't understand the hate on cockstocks, they look absolutely fantastic.

Had the biggest guitar-boner for the same guitar in transparent green for the longest time :agreed:

Happy NGD!
I've handled a few of these ltd's and they're nice for what you can pick them up for.
Good base for modding

I've noticed some people only like them when they're flipped around on a Mayones

I think they really do look awesome flipped (I think this is the case with most headstocks though - Jackson SLS, Ibanez, Fender, Suhr etc), fairly certain I've seen them flipped on the Eternal Descent guys guitars, regardless the cockstock is awesome and it's on the Brett Garsed sig therefore it gains universal mojo :agreed:

Congrats OP on your NGD :)

Nice! I got a green one of these almost exactly a year ago. I had the same thing happen with the neck pickup ring on mine. I will say, yours is in rougher condition, but the headstock damage actually looks kinda cool, it seems almost scorched, like it was stick in a candle or something. My only complaint with mine is the pickups, the low end is a bit too round for my taste.

But anyway, HNGD!

Thanks everyone! I'll record some samples once I move and have access to a real studio.

Happy NGD man! For what little it'd need to be in a little better shape, it's totally worth it. And while the pickups are okay, there's always a lot of room for potential with these. Very cool score that you got one with Sperzels too!

I had one of these years ago and regretted getting rid of it ever since. Mine had a set of D-Activator 7's in it and it was evil in the tone department. Another buddy of mine currently has one and it re-sparked my GAS for one... I'd be inclined for the BS-7, but the Floyd is the turn-off for me. Too bad too, because I :wub::wub: the new 4x3 tuner configuration on the BS-7 vs. the 3x4 on these older ones. And not to mention, I'd rather have one of these older Horizon 7's than the new ones, just because the cockstock is how a Horizon 7 is supposed to be done!!!

Good luck with it bro! And again, congrats!!!
