The reason I ask is that I'm looking to add an 8 channel mic pre into my setup.
Atm my Tascam US1641 has 8 XLR, 6 1/4" Jack and 1 Stereo RCA in (essentially 2 monos, as it's Digital in)
So to allow greater versatility to it I'm looking at the SM Audio PR8e, which has 8 XLR ins with 8 1/4" outs.
Obviously the 1/4" to 1/4" connections are heaven. But then there's the two final jacks that need to go to one stereo RCA.
Having found out that these adaptors exist, has anyone experienced one?
Overall this would then leave me with 8 XLR and 8 XLR/Jack - which I think is far more useful!
