HELP ME FIX THIS CAPS LOCK!

Hey y'all, I'm buying some new bass gear which is cool.

Ultimately, I'm looking for a tone like this:

Yeah, I know Attack Attack sucks, but the bass cuts through so well and has so much clarity and depth!

I have a REALLY sick Madison 8x10 (the bassist of BEHEMOTH used mine on an American tour a few years back) that sounds better than any Ampeg cab I have ever heard.

I also have a Jazz bass with EMG's in it ( I believe they are passive )


Basically I need to pick a head that can produce something close to this, and I'll probably need some sansamp as well!

I have like 800 to spend, but I would prefer to spend less.

I'd get a used Mesa head, any one would be awesome.

Get a distortion pedal for bass, find a way to mix dry signal + distorted signal (don't use insane amounts of gain) till you find something that you like...the dry signal will give you the body/fullness and the distorted signal will make it cut through better and have more attack.

Sounds weird to say that some distortion will make the bass sound more defined and cut through better, but yea, it works.

Btw, it's been a while since I've heard of your band. Good stuff!!
