This is through NeuralDSP Omega Granophyre + OwnHammer V30 IRs, but sounds good to me.

As for interfaces, I highly recommend checking out the Motu M2/M4 as well! https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/M4--motu-m4-4x4-usb-c-audio-interface

I'll definitely check those out as well. I've had them recommended to me a few times in the past. That actually sounds really good. Is that just straight IR's?

I re did that riff I had, and tamed the said frequencies by a hair comparitively (a 6db cut at 4k and a 10db cut at 4.3k) and I think it sounds better, but I'm unsure.

I just upgraded to an audient id14 from a scarlett 2i4 2nd gen, and honestly for the money (it's about in line with the price of a new 3rd gen 4i4) it's a better product. Built in DI capability, built in headphone amp, and way better sound quality from my preliminary tests (I haven't done any extensive A/B comparisons with the sound yet, so don't quote me on the better sound quality part).

If you're getting hiss/fizz with the NDSP stuff try lowering the input gain on the program a bunch. Or run a DI box into the scarlett (which is what I used to do).
