^^Agreed. My NS-2 in the 4CM kills ALL noise through my 6505. Even if the volume is set to "destroy" -- you could hear a pin drop in my room if I mute the strings.

Hell yeah. Its why I keep using them. I've tried so many noise gates, and just keep coming back the NS2.

This!

Secondly, what cab are you using with it? I feel like people don't realize how big of an effect a high quality cab has on their sound, both in the construction and which speakers you use.

I'm all set cab-wise! I have two custom made 2x12 cabs, front loaded with 2 Celestion V30's and two Warehouse Veteran 30 speakers. They are the best cabs I have ever heard. Only very few have been made here in Belgium by a guy known as "hennie". He's a real tone guru and made them specifically for my needs. Everything in the design is top notch. It blows every other cab away that I have ever played on for what I do. And they look gorgeous too! Here they are:

I'm probably gonna sell my 6505 and buy a 5150 III in the end. I'll need a lot of cash, but it will be worth it in the end.

Well, that's what I finally did. I sold the 6505 and my Schecter 7string. The EVH is on it's way. I chose the EVH 5150 III stealth edition. It's coming in today, in an hour or two at most! Pictures of the rig will follow! :metal:
