hello there!

i'm a new member, but i've been lurking around here sometimes.
i've been playing guitar for almost a year now. got my first real guitar september last year.
i usually play rock/metal, but i played guitar for a jazz band for a bit.
i recently got a bass and plan to play that in the same jazz band this year.
i like musicals. i auditioned to for the part of Tobias Ragg in a local production of Sweeney Todd (my favourite musical ever <3) and didn't get the role
idk what else to say, so i'll just say my top 5 favourite artists atm now

3. Type O Negative
4. AFI
5. Cannibal Corpse

Their erstwhile keyboard player Dennis De Young was reknowned for wanting the group to do musicals and writing their most unrocking songs (e.g. "Babe", which shared its namesake movie's porcine aspects), leading to their break-up and "handbags at dawn" fights between the members that could've been the script for a musical.
