Came across this band on Spotify a couple nights ago. Not sure if this is the Boss HM-2, or a fuzz pedal of some sort, but either way...guitar tone that I'd otherwise think of as absolutely horrible, works well in context.


That tone is awesome, I love the old school Swedish buzzsaw tone, works very well on that chuggy style of death metal, though obviously it would not be so good on modern styles.

That band are just a shameless revival of "glory days" Entombed though.

I like the guitar tone... If it sounds good in context, to me that = good... :shrug:

One of the guitars on Cephalic Carnage's Conforming to Abnormality comes to mind, or Dimebag's tone... can of bees. Still good though.
