It's clean except the chunk of paint that's missing that looks to be about the size of half a thumb! :ugh:

That's a pretty good price for an S7420 but there's a few quite large chips right out of the wood.
It would make an awesome project guitar.
I always fancied getting one of these and stripping it back to bare mahogany and just oiling the body.
That would rule!!!!!!

I don't think that is an 8527 personally.
It looks like a JCRG7-1 to me.It's got the Lo-Pro7 rather than the Edge-Pro7 that's on most 8527's.
I think the very earliest 8527's had Lo-Pros but they were only available in Vintage Violin.
I may be wrong but i think it's an RG7-1.
If it is i think they're a better guitar anyway.

Does it really even matter when every flametop J custom RG is basically the same anyway?

biggest dif is probably the trem

and I think I'm gonna agree with jtm45 on this one...the neck is identical to my JCRG7...I just can't remember if they had another model designated after that came with the lopro
