If someone = Paris Hilton, she means it's pink with sparkles.

If someone =/= Paris Hilton, they mean it has a very high output - it's very "loud" going into the amplifier, and will hit the front end harder.

It means when you plug a strat into your distortion channel loaded up it'll sound crunchy and kind of rock, ya know.

So then you plug in this freaking hot-ass pickup into it and all of a sudden your house rumbles and you blow out your windows from the pinch harmonics.

I think that sums it up best.

Basically it means that when you crank up your amp and the volume on your guitar that, if you have "hot" pickups, the Devil, Satan himself, will spring forth like some demonic genie to grant your most darkest of wishes.

So sayeth the Dark Lord!!

As mentioned earlier. It's a higher output.

For example.

Blaze bridge output=380

X2n-7 output= 510

Some example of what the x2n (not the 7 string version) sounds like.
