How did you start playing 7-strings?

Korn inspired me to start playing guitar and then inspired me to get a 7 string.. Now I have new routes from where I get my inspiration from..

I discovered dropped tunings through playing Korn tabs. Then I started to notice that the bands I listened to played sevens. I then started to really hate flappy strings and crappy intonation and scored an Ibanez 1527 in '02. Sixes have just seemed like banjos since then.
