Drop G# on standard or extended, with something like a 68 on top.
And drop A# with a low F, still playing with sizes for that one, probably around an 80 on 27".

My S7420 is in Bb Standard, and my RG1527 is in B Standard, but I put it in Drop A for some stuff. Both are 25.5 scales.

25.5 scale
Drop-G (G-D-G-C-F-A-D)
Elixir 11-49 set + 68

It's a basswood guitar, w/ BKP Painkillers; that low, at that scale, especially with that guitar, the pickups have to be pretty damn tight for it to work. It DOES work however, wonderfully :)

I also have an 8-string I tune standard with Elixir 10-56 set + a 75 bass string (which, with Elixirs, actually works); my girlfriend/writing partner has my old Gibson Flying V tuned D standard to match my 7 and a Fender HMTele tuned standard to match the 8... soooo many fun combinations!!! :D

Till i get something that's longer than 25.5 it looks like B standard is my tuning I'm stuck with. Bb is doable but A and lower just sound like farts after eating taco bell.

I think this depends alot on your amplification and what the guitar is made of. I have a 25.4" scale 7 string and normally tune to Bb, and have done A before and it sounds perfectly fine. I'd need thicker strings to go further though.

Think of it like this; going from 25.5" to 27" is pretty much like adding one fret on the low end (so a half step). So if Bb is the lowest you can go with 25.5", then roundabouts A would be as low as you could go with a 27" baritone.

B standard and drop A, 9-46 + 74 on 25.5 scale
I would do the same on the other guitar but I need to drill the tuning peg first so right now I use the biggest string that can fit which is a 64
