The Prestige is a higher end instrument with better hardware, pickups, and quality control. But they cost more, so if cost is a concern, go used rather than new.

There's like 4 in stock at Drum City Guitarland not counting the left handed ones... Maybe give them a call and see if their website is up to date?Normally I wayyyy prefer trying guitars in person - just much better success rate at getting keepers when I can try before buying. But in my area (Denver/Boulder CO) there's like... four 8-string guitars within an hour's drive, each guitar in a different direction
... Welcome to covid pricing times... I've been buying mine localy for 1100€ top, but local market moves very slowly so high priced guitars or gear just sits for ages...Got it. Thanks. Prestiges seem to run around $1700 used.... is this normal? What would a good deal be on one?
Again my thanks for answering questions that have probably been answered a zillion times on here. Noted and appreciated.

Wow, I have no idea what to do with this thing. LOL. So different from 7 string! Much exploration to be had, soon.
What's the deal with double truss rods? Do you need to adjust both equally?
1- Yep, sweated over it quite a bit.1 - Nice spec I think
2 - Fun times ahead, right?
3 - You need to adjust them according to the guitar's needs...
