I like vines on these guitars as it makes them different from other more common RG7's, but I wouldnt want them on everything. I can see how some would find them gaudy.

Yeah, sadly I do find them a tad bit gaudy, as you say... IMHO that amazing J-Custom would have looked much better with offset dots... or just a simple 12th fret thing as on the Prestige S-Series.

Oh yeah. If I had a signature model, it would have writing in sanscrit all over the fretboard and ancient hindu demons inlayed on the 12th-15th frets.
