Well in my opinion, your opinion is bad.

I didn't like the look of the RGD when it first came out but it started to grow on me as the months went by, when I finally got to try the RGD2127Z I fell in love with how the guitar looked in person, and for how friggin comfortable it was to play sitting or standing
Preference is preference but it def converted me from an RG guy to an all out RGD fan, and now that they have a fixed bridge version with the tight end, I probably am not ass crazy looking forward to NAMM for Ibanez stuff this as you guys are, but that doesn't mean I'm not watching this page like a hawk, I like me some ibby porn
Only mind changer would be if the RGD2127FX came in gloss black this year, then I would jump on that instead
Either way this year should be good for ibby 7's and 8's

Man, I normally like burst edges but it's just not doing it for me with the tobacco stain

It's not a tobacco stain, it's just natural mahogany w/ blackburst edges.

Theres no difference. The only thing that changed is the Lo Pro Edge instead of the ZR bridge. The Lo Pro is a flawless design which usually was only found on the Apex100 and Jem7V7 in recent times, so its great they're using this on most of the 2014 models now.
So if you're just saying you preferred the ZR over the Lo Pro, ah well

i knew the bridge was the only difference, but i do very much like the ZR. guess i could always get another with the lo pro though
