Yes please.

List price for the 6 : 130,000yen
7 : 140,000yen
8 : 170,000yen

Pretty reasonable if you ask me :) street price might be around 30,000yen lower.

Yes please.

That first prestige RG7 makes me think about a 7421 in a cherry fudge finish
The other one makes me think about a revision of the RG15271
And I'm guessing they're using PAF 7s for DiMarzios

Some notes on these: those models are all legit but there will be more finishes available than whats shown there. Also the prices have been reduced. For example that Prestige RG8 shown above is going to cost considerably less than the 2228 did which has identical specs save for the bridge.

For me those hardtails are competing with the Schecter Banshee hardtail.

Thing with Ibanez' bridges, both with hardtails and trems - what's with the inconsistency? You've got some with Tight End, some with Gibraltar, some with the strat style, some with Edge Zero, some with Lo-Pro. It doesn't seem to correlate with any kind of price range either. Not that I'm complaining. Just weird is all...

I'm hoping they'll release some more passive 8's this go-round. It kinda kills it for me when I see great spec'd guitars that would require an instant pup swap for my tastes.

I really hope that Gibraltor doesn't suck. I want to like it, but it doesn't look very good - it looks uncomfortable like the other versions have been (save for the one on the old RGA's), but I just don't understand why they need to have those "wings" on the sides. Same goes for the Tite End - I can't think of any functional purpose for the extra mass, and they would all look much cooler if they were slimmed down. Oh well :2c: I am hoping to be wrong about it.

I'm guessing the wings are to act as a gradual slope to the top of the saddle. That way the saddle doesn't just jump out of nowhere and you wack your hand off it

Having tried one, I think its more comfortable than my RGA321's bridge. Doesn't obstruct the hand at all.

If the RG852FX comes in anything other than black or white, that would be amazing. Maybe red or orange? I'd snag one.

Only the S series Iron Labels had DiMarzios. If you love RG guitars then it's an 81, 707 or 808

I forgot about that, which only kinda disappoints me more. We have passive RG 6's and 6's, but next to no 8's. Though, one of these would give me an excuse to try the 57/66 combo

Also, whatever happened to that 9 string?

AHHH, that looks nice finally some Prestige Models with fixed Bridges. The only Thing that´s missin is some sweet abalone Binding !:hbang:
How would you compare those Prestiges to the Iron Label Series. Are they really that much better and if so what actually is better besides the build Quality and Marterials ?
