Given how synonymous Ibanez has been with the locking-trem-demographic for over 30 years, I find it really odd that we’ve seen no moves to get ahead of Strandberg with a headless Edge variant.

I tried out a few SZs new back in the day. As well as the old Mike mushock baritone sig model. They are great guitars. Like a Les Paul for someone who plays super strats.

It was a proposed shape for the Xiphos, but was rejected. I doubt we'll see it again

I forget which SSO member did it but they put some P90's that are humbucker sized in an RG421 or similar guitar. I'm really tempted to do that or at least get some of this pickups for my SG.

Speaking of SZ's, has there ever been a 7 string SZ?
