Ibanez 2027XL neck profile?

Totally different. The RG1077XL is thinner similar to a 90s UV, and the new RG2027XL is thicker, but not so much that it would be uncomfortable. Like schecter and PRS are much much thicker neck profiles. IMHO.

I'm assuming it will be fairly close to my RGDR then!

The earlies 2000s ibanez necks are goated for me, but I am still more than happy with the modern carves!

My 2027XL is much more round than my old RGD3127. It reminds me a lot of my 1527z and my current RG7421 (2000 model). The RGD was a bit thicker and had more shoulder to it.

It's the ideal Ibanez neck profile in my opinion, not so flat, still slim.

My two RGDs (2127 and 4427) have more shoulder to them as well. The 2027 doesn't have the same profile as my 2077 either mind. It's sort of an in between of the 2077 and the two RGDs. It's very comfortable and it's really enjoy it for lead playing! I can't wait to compare it to the RGDR4527 which should arrive on Monday!

I used to have one but didn't really liked it that much. Neck profile IIRC was the same as a RG7620 (wich I've also owned). What bothered me more was the scale length. It sounds stupid because I also had a JBM27 wich I did like (26,5 inch scale length). The 2027 was just too much for me.

I had once an ibanez rga8 with 27 inch.26.5 is better for me too but the most important thing is the profile.i put my thumb over the neck very often and the shoulders are bothering me.actualy hurts my thumb
