Gotoh 6 string whammy and straight string pull headstock with Sperzal locking tuners for great tuning stability.
Custom fixed 7 string bridge to easily change tuning from low B to A (or anything you like).

Ehhhh, wha?

I saw that too and thought about sicking it up here as a fake. It looks WAY to dodgy to me. Vintage trem and a sticker for a serial number? Doesn't sound right for a genuine Ibanez to me. Neither does the "6 string whammy/fixed 7 bridge" statement in the description. I mean, WTF does he mean?

  What the hell does that 6-string whammy/7-string fixed bridge thing mean? A sticker for a serial number!? Dodgiest thing I've ever seen...

LACS uses stickers for serial numbers often times.

It may not be real, but I've seen that trem config before - one of the guys that posts over on The Gear Page (Matte) has that on most of his 7 strings, since the B (or, in his case, A) tends to resonate much better in a fixed-bridge config. I can't find any pics, but I've definitely seen it before.

Korina and mahogany 3 piece neck

Really? At a guess I'd go for maple and bubinga though I could be wrong. Bad news, this one.

Actually, looking at the grain, it could be very well be korina and mahogany. This guitar's starting to "smell" real to me, since it's really too odd to be a convincing fake - the quality of the materials looks pretty nice, too. Interesting...

It looks legit to me, though I don't claim to be the biggest expert on Ibanez. I've never been big on Wilkinson-style trems, though, even with Sperzels. Either get a Floyd, or go fixed bridge!! :)

Well, seeling how the swoosh logo doesn't reach the end of the headstock, id say she's a fake, or simply a refinish.

If it's an LACS guitar:

1. It will be written or stamped "LACS" on the back of the headstock, like these:

1A. If it's a sticker, it will start with "LA", and look like this one:

Optional (but requested by the LACS for every guitar): The artists name in script under the logo on the front of the headstock, like this:

I've just had another look at it, and there's definitely extra screws on the front of the bridge, so it does appear to be 6 strings trem, one fixed. Also, althought I can't read it, the sticker does start with an upright letter, so it could be a capital L. Maybe I was mistaken in thinking it was a fake. I still wouldn't buy it though, even if it was a genuine LACS. Fixed or Floyd bridges only I'm afraid.

...and sounds more like he plays a trem-equipped guitar than most people who actually DO, lol. I've seen this video of him jamming with satch where he mimic's Joe's whammy bar screams with bent pinch harmonics - it's so impressive it's actually kinda funny.
