A tossup between Vai's UV90th one-off, and Satch's red JS-7. Probably the JS7, if I had to choose.

Hm. Satch's oiled mahogany JS-7 would be way up there on my list. But to be honest, the JP7 is a real GAS-killer for me. There aren't many other guitars i lust after since acquiring this one.

I actually was in contact with Bill Conklin in regards to getting a guitar very similar to this one, minus the high A string. I wish someone near me had a conklin so that I can see how playable they are!!!!

only thing about this which keeps it from complete and total perfection for me is the tremelo (need a 7 string gibralter) and dimarzio's.

but i could make due if forced at gun point ;)
