I think the ones that are showing up most often here, the "average" top 4, seem to be overdrive, delay, reverb, and a gate. Interesting

It'd probably depend on the rig, but for my main live rig, I'd have to go with an overdrive, chorus, delay/echo, and a noise gate.

Exactly what I've whittled my board down to. OD and a gate in front, Delay and a gate in the loop.
