Great band. had a nice tight set. One of the guitarist had a really beautiful PRS with a black stained top and a "bloodburst" finish (as you can see in the pics). Going to get at least the newest record from iTunes when my paycheck arrives.

Throwdown:

Again a pretty tight set. Little more people start coming to the front of the stage. Put on a good show but over all it wasn't something for me.

Unearth:

My main reason to go to this show
As expected an amazing show with some funny shit from Ken and Buzz.
Buzz only play his new "White Widow" LACS Ibanez during the whole set. Ken switched between a Natural LACS Ibanez and a red LACS Ibanez.
Unfortunately I didn't get any chance to speak to either of them.

Chimairi

Headliner for the show that night.
The guys put on an amazing show.
Already liked them before. Now that I saw what an amazing live show they do I'm just even more of a fan.

Meet and Greet with Chimaira:

The guys signed some stuff and talked a bit to each person that was there.
Really cool guy, all of them. Talked a bit about his signature guitar with Rob and a bit with Chris about his setup.

I also grabbed a copy of Unearth's "The March" as well as a Unearth shirt and a copy of their Live DVD "Alive from the Apocalypse".

Quite a bunch of sensual guitars, esp. the white LACS and bloodburst PRS. Quite a good lineup aswell,, I imagine it was a good show! Didn't know Daath was spelled with å's though, that's pretty silly... sounds ridiculous when you pronounve it.

Most likely a LACS Ibanez ATK since I have never heard of an ATK being produced in that color.

I was there!
Daath and Throwdown didn't do much for me. Never heard any of their stuff before and when you're at a concert with a band you don't have any experience with, all songs tend to sound the same.

Unearth was great though. They're using alot more leads so it was easier for me to tell the songs apart as I didn't have any experience with them either Will definitely pick up some of their albums.

But Chimaira (my main attraction that night) blew me away! Their set was amazing, with flawless playing and great sound mix. Herrick's drumming continues to leave me speechless. Too bad I had to leave halfway through because I had to reach the last bus home.

Actually he jumped of the Cab behind Slo. Still fucking amazing how he can do these jumps and still keep playing without missing a note.

He was. Once they let Ricky Evensand go, Kevin Talley replaced him on the self titled album.
