I am planning on getting some in ears for studio work (and general use) does anybody have any suggestions?

Here are a couple I have been looking at so far:

"maudio" M Audio Ie-30 Dual Driver Pro Earphones at Studiospares

Ultimate ears in ear studio monitors, look amazing however at about £850 I think I will give them a miss.

Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3 - In Ear Studio Headphones: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Etymotic Research, Inc. - ER-4? MicroPro Series

SE425 Sound Isolating Earphones

I'm currently liking the idea of the Shure se425 due to a detachable cable and a very good sound quality even though they are not designed for studio work however they are build for monitoring. Anyway any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Try looking at the westone UM series. The prices of the IEM you are looking at are all over the place. Any budget?

For monitoring I would go with the etymotics atleast they will be clear and somewhat precise compared to the others you have listed. You should also look into the westone UM3X they are more for stage monitoring and mixing.
