I recently upgraded to a Tascam US-1800 to record drums and generally have more inputs than with my former fastrack usb(it was a great run though
).
The issue Im having is with the Instrument/Line ins 9/10 and an MXL 991 mic. the instrument line in with a guitar plugged in peaked while i was recording drums (guitar plugged in) but the gain knob doesn't affect the level of the input on 9/10 with the guitar line button pushed in. same with the MXL 991 on xlr input 2 the gain knob does not affect the level in my DAW.
Obviously, I'd very much like to be able to turn these down as an unadjustable clipping signal is uselss.
Any Thoughts?
