I'm listening to 'A Prelude Of Things Worse To Come'. Solace is amazing.

From the thread title, I thought this was gonna be a discussion on the Alesis Ion, using dissonance within the patch.

Boy was I let down....

I haven't listen too mutch to solace but "Breathing Is Irrelevant" and "Minus the herd" are amazing albums.
"Minus the herd" is on repeat on my cd player for the last weak! I really dig into this kind of hardcore!
I love "Breathing is irrelevant" because it's so fresh... It seems like a meshuggah + dillinger mixture :) pretty cool!
Awesome band!!!!

As per an old ion dissonance thread, where someone figured it out. Seems about right.

They are indeed awesome.

"Minus the Herd" is a killer album. I haven't checked out any albums before that, but I more than likely will. Pretty killer band. :yesway:

Yeah, it's definately not standard & the guitarists keep it a close secret. It's uhhhhh, dissonant though. ;)

They are indeed supremely talented

And a great antidote to Children of Bodom and everything else that resolves

i think "solace" is theyr best album, every time i hear it in the car it makes me want to drive faster and slay something...minus the herd was cool the first 2 or 3 times to listen, but it looses its attraction very soon...too monotonous.

I never really could get into them. Seen them live a few times and it just never did it for me.
