To be honest I haven't even bothered to load custom IRs on these. They sound good with stock cabs. If I don't have to browse through an infinite IR list to make them sound good, you can sign me on that.

I guess the custom IRs make it more familiar to me, but the built in ones don't suck by any means.

The real one just sounds so much better, like there's half the gain/grit.

I downloaded the SLO100, Granophyre, and Nameless this weekend and really like the Nameless sound the most. It was the only one of the 3 that I found to be usable with the default settings/a few of the presets as well. I do like the SLO model, but not $150 like it.

Not shocking, I think If I was to get one of those plugins I would probably subscribe to there email list and hope they sometime do a discount on a holiday like some companies do.

I do recall checking out the Granophyre from the add on Facebook and thought was one of the better ones from Neural that I heard.

I actually messed those clips up and forgot to mix in the 121 mic, so that's pure SM57 and I still dig it

Granophyre is definitely "the" plugin for me from this series based on everything I've tried so far, but it really opened up with my other IRs.

They're running a 50% off discount right now, excludes the SLO. I'm thinking about doing it. It's going for another 4 days.

They have never offered discounts under 50%, so if you plan to wait for a bigger discount sometime, don't.

I think I'm going to go for it, I haven't got a chance to demo all of them though so I'm not sure what I want. Liked the Nameless but hated the Cali.

Gojira sounded better to me than either of those.
