FYI

Jeff Loomis posted a video yesterday that its gone now. It was a clip of a bunch of half built Kellys. They were all full black and clear coated, so they weren't his usual matte black sig model. You could only see the back, and they had a cavity so either FR or Evertune equipped. The headstock wasn't entirely visible, so I couldn't tell if they were 6s or 7s models.

They *could* be just regular KE2s, but why build expectations for that? A new sig model sounds way more exciting.
I want to believe it’s 7 string Kellies with a standard, non-reversed headstock. This is my dream. IDGAF if it is an sig model. IDGAF about bridge type. I’ve been waiting so goddamn long.

Anyway, thanks for sharing. A girl can dream.

Another “model shop” guitar, but confirmed made by Shannon. Looks fucking sick.

Maybe "Model Shop" is just code for "built by Mike Shannon to give him something to do in retirement so his wife doesn't get pissed that he's just sitting around watching Star Trek TNG reruns in the basement."

Or maybe that's just how my dad spends his retirement. Minus the making sweet guitars part.
