I would love it if Carvin came out with a numbered model.

^So true, but can't forget his mom. In the documentary both his parents come across as total model parents, it's amazing to see.

Thanks for posting that! My favourite is the Grover Jackson Kelly Marty Friedman used to own, (and used in the Hawaii and Megadeth days), and the purple Carvin. Except without the stickers!

Amen! For a while there I was thinking of trying to convince some luthier to build us a run of 7 string guitars like that. And then we'd give a portion of the sales to Jason or his foundation or whatever.

Yeah, the numbered one was originally a Jackson, iirc. And then Paradise did a run of them, and then promptly went out of business. Our best chance would be Carvin, at this point. But the numbering scheme is so different from anything Carvin does that it's also our worst chance.

This collection is awesome to see. Becker is such a crazy story. I don't pay much attention to youtube/internet comments in general, but when you see the stupid stuff that internet turds are saying on Becker videos you really just want to shut them down. Dude wrote Perpetual Burn when he was 18 and started losing abilities at 20. That's insane.
You want some things to be "off limits" somehow, but it's the internet.
That numbered fretboard should be like a pink ribbon amongst guitarists for an amazing dude.

HE IS COMPLETELY PARALYZED AND WRITES MUSIC WITH HIS EYES.

And apparently has kept a pretty great attitude while doing it. I read an interview a few years back where he speculated that the reason he was still alive is because his family and friends fully convinced him that they sincerely wanted him around. What a will! What a family! What a guitar collection!
