I saw a couple of Sadowskys in the rack but since he didn't talk about them I'm wondering if he even plans to sell them. I guess he still uses them frequently while this is just a bunch of collectible stuff collecting dust. That Fender V's strings look like they haven't had the strings changed since leaving the factory... in the '60s lol

I just want to see the Reddit thread from the dude who bought the Dobro from the former Metallica Bassist.

Nice collection. I was expecting a few ESPs, weirdly happy to be wrong.

Don't really follow any Bass player.
Just curious if there is any iconic/legendary gear here? Anything a die-hard fan must have in this auction?

My personal highlight is that 60 $ guitar that looks painted with the kids in a kindergarten project. That's the kind of shit parents love when it was their own little prodigy kid who painted it but not someone else's.

I'm pretty sure the one bass I want wasn't actually his...

(The Spector used on the black album)
I think he's gonna take that one to the grave.

Honestly the only thing I can see that would be worth it as a die-hard Newsted fan is the Alembic 12-string and the Zon fretless.

Like we dicussed above, a lot of these just seem like dust collectors.

The little ukulele. God-tier. I think maybe Hetfield borrowed it for recording The Unforgiven.

But don't quote me on that.

Have to wait I guess. I imagine the prices will be pretty high, and if not some flipper will buy them instantly.

This kind of stuff never seems worth it. An instrument isn't better because some famous guy owned it.

I'd be surprised if these were bought by actual musician to play.

I heard the Spector belonged to Bob Rock.

I never really understood why Jason never went the Spector route, that said his Sadowsky sound was killer.
It was brief but between 1994 - 1995 he was a Spector artist and even had a sig model. g was funny looking, though. It's like they tried to throw a Spector NS2/NS5 and Alembic Elon and Europa in a blender lol

But yeah Jason strictly used these in 1994 and 1995... then never used them again lol

That was during the period when Stuart didn't have the rights to the "Spector" brand or shapes post sale to Kramer, hence the SSD logo.

Yeah I remember that he didn't get the name back until like 1999/2000. I mean the overall shape seems like they were trying to make an Alembic-esque Spector.
