I know this is primarily a guitar site, but here we go. Can anybody name some good piano/bass/drums jazz trios? I've been looking at stuff like this on Youtube and I think it sounds great.

Classic:
Oscar peterson! (Bass - Ray Brown or NHOP)
Bill Evans (Scott Lafaro, Chuck Israels, Eddie Gomez or Marc Johnson [great taste in bassists] also Michael Moore for 6 months as well as a few others)
Keith Jarrett (Gary Peacock)

Modern:
Brad Mehldau (Larry Grenadier)
Bad Plus (Reid Anderson)
EST (Dan Berglund)

Check out these and let me know which ones and what you like most and I will suggest more.

As Mikey D said, anything with Ray Brown. The "Some of my best friends are..." series is very good, imo.

Awesome help guys, thanks a lot! I'm loving both modern & classic jazz, they're a lot more different than I expected. Both really good. Thanks for the suggestions Mikey!
