Anybody actually play around with any of them, the mjolnir the zombie and tue meteor specifically seem like great little practice amps with decent tone. Anybody have any notes?

Is there a list of what they're supposed to be emulating?

Or is that just the Hotones, amd the cheap Joyos aren't "inspired bys"?

From memory, Zombie is supposedly emulating a recto or some kind of Mesa (the "mb" in "zombie" are highlighted). The JaCkMan is jcm800. The VIVO is 5150 (Roman numerals. This one is pretty clever). MeteOR is supposedly an orange. I think there is one more that is based on a vox or something.
I
haven't played any but I know Glenn Fricker loves to suggest the joyo zombie.

VIVO? Damn, seriously???

Why not just call it a "Psych Hold" or "Involuntary Commitment", so maybe someone can actually figure it out

I'm partial to the GFS "Vintage Extra Hot" pickups, or VEH for short.

Yeah, but which the hell pickup are they imitating?

Ibanez Super 70? Mighty Mite Super Distortion knockoff? Alleged rewound Gibson PAF? Unendorsed first Duncan? EBMM? Unendorsed second Duncan? Peavey? Wolfgang? EVH Fender?

...or what?

I think it is their own pickup. Supposed to sound like whatever paf he was using on VH and VH2.

Or they're a knockoff on the Wolfgang pickups.

I'm really just talking about the clever naming though. I've never played the VEH

Honestly what looks pretty cool to me is the Beale street. It's got 2 channels with four inputs, 2 normal and 2 bright...

...so that means I can plug guitar into normal, put a patch cable between normal and bright, and then I'll be playing normal channel and bright channel at the same time and I can blend them between the two gain controls.

If I am correct, that is a kinda similar thing to a Fender Bassman or a Sunn Model T (Though the Model T has a "both" input). I wonder if the amp could be made to sound like either of those.

The Zombie was really bassy and a little too dark for my taste, even with a boost. Much more dark than say a triple rec.

I’m curious about the vivo and the meteor still though.

Own the Zombie, use it for bedroom practice with a Randall RG8 cab. $239 rig.
