IT HAS ARRIVED!
bought a used ibanez Rg7620. it my first 7 string guitar, and the first guitar i have owned with a trem system. I have no intention of using the whammy bar and i'm considering blocking the trem off with a tremol-no or something of that nature. here's the spec and a picture or two:
- Basswood body
- Wizard 7 neck
- 24 Jumbo frets
- Floyd rose LoPro Edge 7 bridge
- Dimarzio pickups
I have put some new strings (10-56 7string set) on her and i'm having a couple of issues keeping it in tune before i put the locking nut down. i think the spring tension needs adjusting because when i tune it to standard it always goes flat and the trem seems to be ever so slightly angled up. i tried tuning to Eb standard and all the strings tended to tune themselves sharp. any advice for a 7 string n00bcake like me on how i can resolve this issue and get me playing this bad boy asap?
cheers
